#1-input white gif at IM
You can also just take a clear gif to IM and then paint it white and resize to whatever size you want.
#2-Decorate--30x30,black,border
You can use any size border,make it larger if you want more black on the edges or if you want to pull more of the black into the mask.
#3-Effect--spread @ 12
Try different numbers in the spread to get different effects.
#4-Effects--gaussian blur @ 3x3
Try different numbers here to get different effects.
#5-FX--implode @ 1
I imploded the mask in order to pull the black into the mask.
#6-FX--swirl @ 300
You can try any of the other FX effects to get different results.
#7-output as a jpg
I then took the mask back to IM and composited a graphic into the mask using "multiple".Here are 2 examples,the 2nd example shows how much black is around the edges using the 30x30 border.
